Associate in Arts Degree

The Associate in Arts degree is recommended for students who plan to transfer to four-year colleges or universities to pursue the Bachelor of Arts degree.

South Piedmont offers the option of earning the Associate in Arts Degree in one year (A10100Y). This is an accelerated degree program leading to an Associate in Arts degree in twelve months. To be eligible for consideration, students must have at least a 3.0 high school GPA and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher while in the program. Courses are offered in two-week, four-week, and five-week sessions. Students take no more than two courses at a time and all courses are delivered in both online and seated formats.
