South Piedmont Community College offers programs of study in a wide range of college transfer and career areas. These programs of study lead to a certificate, a diploma, or an associate degree. Programs are grouped by career cluster making it easier to see the progressive education opportunities at SPCC.
Most courses are offered on a 16-week semester basis or 80 school days. Courses may also be offered as mini-terms (e.g. 12-week, 8-week, 4-week, etc.). Courses are offered during the day, evenings, weekends, and as distance learning. Not all programs’ courses are available in all options.
South Piedmont Community College ensures all graduates of its degree and diploma programs have achieved competence in reading, writing, oral communication, fundamental mathematical skills, and basic use of computers.
