ANT 245 - World Prehistory

This course provides an introduction to the prehistory of the Old and New world. Emphasis is placed on archaeological evidence from origins of human culture to the beginning of recorded history. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of the variability of ancient human societies and the development of agriculture and urbanism. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a general education course in Pre-Major/Electives.
