OST 248 - Diagnostic Coding

Prerequisite(s): MED 121  or OST 141
Corequisite(s): None
This course provides an in-depth study of diagnostic coding. Emphasis is placed on ICD coding systems. Upon completion, students should be able to properly code diagnoses in a medical facility. Students may receive credit for this course by successfully completing non-credit course MED 3100M.
